New Lowheart single - "The Other Side"

Lowheart have released their second single for 2020, a hard-edged upbeat rocker called "The Other Side", with a big anthemic chorus, rock-solid rhythm, and plenty of punchy guitar, including some tasty lead guitar solos! Lyrically, "The Other Side" deals with pushing through depression, and other setbacks and battles in life, in order to reach a state of greater peace, joy, and strength. Hopefully it's a track that resonates with many people, who can relate to the message and maybe gain some inspiration and courage - as Lowheart deliver the song with their usual passion, gusto, and verve. A major sonic influence on the musical style of the track is Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist Nick Barker - one of the duo's favourite performers and recording artists of all time. "The Other Side" is available worldwide on Rat Wheel Records, via distributor CD Baby, and can be streamed now on AppleMusic, Spotify, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, and most other platforms around the globe.

Lowheart releases new video

Lowheart have produced a brand new music video for the song "Kicked To The Curb", a track which proved to be a focal point on the recent "Gravel or Gold" album, receiving airplay on several radio stations. The video for this gritty and anthemic hard-edged rocker has now been released on the duo's official YouTube site. The song "Kicked To The Curb" can be streamed or downloaded as a separate track on all platforms, or as featured on the "Gravel or Gold" album and the "A Slab of Lowheart" compilation.

Lowheart release new single - "Complex Times"

Lowheart have just issued a brand new single, "Complex Times" - available on all online music platforms, through RatWheel records and via US distributor CD Baby. It is the duo's first single as Lowheart after four album releases since 2015. Written in 2019, prior to the worldwide pandemic, "Complex Times" somehow still manages to contain some topical relevance in the COVID era, and may strike a chord with listeners in the strange days we are inhabiting - while at times planting the tongue firmly in cheek. "Complex Times" features a classic rock sound, driven by a shuffling rhythm, a strong melodic vocal hook, and Lowheart's trademark guitar sound. Originally intended for inclusion on an album scheduled for release in three albums' time from now (entitled "Sleeping Dogs Bite"), the pair decided to bring forward "Complex Times" (with several overdubs and a new mix added) for release as a stand-alone non-album single. This new single release provides some new Lowheart material, while work continues simultaneously on the hard-rocking "Rock Du Jour" album and the acoustic-based set "The Catharsis File". Lowheart have enough demos recorded, to various levels of completion, for at least four strong new albums. which will follow the "Complex Time" single.
